J. Michael Shea specializes in both civil litigation and criminal defense. He has extensive experience in jury trials and trials to the court in jurisdictions throughout Colorado. Mr. Shea graduated cum laude from Colorado College in 1992. He also received an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. Mr. Shea attended the University of Colorado Law School where he was the Chief Editor of the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy Yearbook. He received his law degree in May 2001 and joined the firm in the Summer of 2001. Mr. Shea is licensed to practice in Colorado and U.S. District Court, District of Colorado. He is currently affiliated with the First Judicial District and Colorado Bar Associations, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. |
